Dongzheng Spring Machine has built CNC spring coiling machines in Dongguan since 2004. Out of 150+ units shipped outside China, serving 15+ countries, the HSM-CNC20 accounts for 100+ installations. That is not because we pushed it harder in sales. HSM-CNC20 in Vietnam: 8-Month Production Data


One of our earliest Vietnamese customers started running two HSM-CNC20 units in 2010. After eight months of continuous operation, their daily output had increased 35% compared to the cam-controlled machines they replaced. The tolerance held steady at ±0.01mm throughout that period without recalibration drift.


That ±0.01mm figure is worth pausing on. Many machines on the market quote ±0.01mm in their brochures, but in real production the number drifts to ±0.03mm or worse after the servo drivers and mechanical components warm up. The HSM-CNC20 held the spec because the wire feeding servo, cam reference, and pitch servo are matched in a way that thermal expansion does not accumulate error over a shift.


The Brazil After-Sales Record


In 2022, a Brazilian manufacturer purchased two HSM-CNC20 units. We set up a dedicated WeChat service group for their maintenance team, including video call support and remote diagnostics. To date, that group has never been used for a repair request.


This is unusual. Most CNC spring formers in this class need at least one or two service interventions per year for wear parts, encoder calibration, or servo tuning. The reason this customer never had to escalate is straightforward: the machine's mechanical structure (cast iron base, hardened rail surfaces, and direct-drive servo configuration) does not develop the backlash issues that trigger most service calls.


The Shenzhen Buyer Who Already Knew Us


Earlier this year, a Shenzhen-based customer ordered two HSM-CNC20 units plus one HSM-CNC08 compression spring machine. The interesting part is how they found us. Their setup technician had worked at three previous factories and used spring coiling machines from several manufacturers. When this customer started a new production line, the technician specifically requested Dongzheng equipment.


His feedback, which we documented during installation: the machine is stable, durable, and easy to set up. When a setup tech with 10+ years of experience and exposure to multiple brands volunteers that opinion unprompted, that is more reliable than any spec sheet.


Another Vietnam Order: March 2026


In March 2026, a Vietnamese customer purchased one HSM-CNC20 after seeing our machine running at another factory. He compared it side-by-side with the spring former he already owned. The difference in vibration, wire feed consistency, and finished part tolerance was visible to the naked eye. He placed the order on the same visit.

  • Tolerance drift measured across a full 8-hour shift, not in a 5-minute demo

  • Documented after-sales service ticket history

  • Setup time for a new part changeover (target under 15 minutes for a standard spring)


A machine that holds ±0.01mm after a warm-up cycle, requires zero service intervention in its first year, and is the preferred choice of experienced setup technicians is a machine that pays back its procurement cost faster than the spec sheet suggests.
